About me

An art journalist and French-to-English translator based in Brooklyn, I cover art news for the French publication Le Journal des Arts. Recent stories include the fate of the Detroit Institute of Arts during Detroit’s bankruptcy, the closing of graffiti mecca 5 Pointz, and the expansion of the Queens Museum. As a translator, I specialize in the fields of art and culture, international development, tourism, business, and marketing. Past translation clients include ARTINFO.com, Translators Without Borders, and the Dijon Tourism Office. In addition to being a certified French-to-English translator, I also hold a Ph.D. in French from Columbia University, where I wrote my dissertation on 18th-century French novels.
